For the first time in 33 years, ownership of the historic Muzak Building in North Shore is changing hands. Humphreys & Associates Contractors, LLC purchased the building from longtime owner, South Central A/V, only fourteen days after it hit the market.
“It seems that everyone in Chattanooga thinks fondly of the Muzak building, which made it a very fun property to sell,” said Lisa Brown, Commercial Agent and Co-Owner of Chattanooga Property Shop. “The minute we put the sign on the property calls started coming in. By the end of the first day, we had five offers. I couldn’t be happier that the new owner is local and adores the building’s historic charm.”
Monty Humphries, owner of Humphreys & Associates Contractors, LLC, plans to renovate the space, open up the floor plan and expose the original tin ceilings before moving his business into the space.
